"JERMUK GROUP" Close Joint-stock company was founded in 1999. This event was marked by building of new mineral water plant in Jermuk health resort located in 173km from Yerevan and at an altitude of 2080m above sea level. It is worth mentioning that the factory was built in the open air right on the bore-hole. Exactly that fact was taken into consideration before the building started, as it was there at 30m depth where Jermuk mineral water bore-hole located.

plastic (PET) as well as New built factory immediately was equipped with euro modern technologies. Owing to the universal production lines and new-built workshops it became possible to produce 0.33ltr, 0.5ltr, 1.0ltr and 1.5ltr0.5ltr glass bottled mineral water.

Production of the "JERMUK GROUP" company differs from that of others by one very important quality: it is produced with the use of natural gas. The special department built with this purpose and technological equipment allows the separation of natural Carbon Dioxide gas from the mineral water; and this gas is immediately used in "Jermuk" mineral water production. As a result we have 100% pure ecological product.

It’s worth mentioning, that since the day of its foundation "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc carries out re-equipment of the factory enhancing productiveness and improving work conditions. Two years later after its foundation a new workshop comes to separate glass bottles production from that of the plastic ones. Now, 2002 and 2003 year production euro equipments and conditions in satisfaction of all modern demands are implemented.

Since 2000 the factory has started producing natural mountain spring water "JERMUK MOUNTAIN" and "BYUREGH". It is spring fresh water that has no mineral components of medical properties, peculiar to “Jermuk”. They successfully meet the varied taste preferences of consumers in local markets and are largely exported to the markets around the world. “Jermuk Group” production meets all quality requirements both of Armenian State Standards and the Russian Standardize Board. Production of the company cannot be forged as all the labels, as well as polyethylene and glass bottles have license for production and are company’s intellectual property. Hence, the possibility of forgery and illegal use by others is excluded.

During the period of the “JERMUK GROUP" cjsc activity which is not very long company managed to achieve very high level in local markets annually enlarging volumes of production, and getting various awards and prizes. Particularly for the success and various achievements in the quality field "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc was awarded “European triumphal arch” on March, 2000, Paris, France. The same year in Armenia at the First Republican Tasting-competition of Armenian Beverages held in Yerevan on June, 2000, mineral water "Jermuk" produced by "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc was awarded gold medal. On November, 2000 "JERMUK GROUP" received governmental premium together with other four companies.

On May, 2001 at the First International "Armprodexpo" Exhibition "Jermuk" mineral water, produced by "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc was awarded Gold medal. The same award went to the company next year at the second "Armprodexpo" Exhibition held on May, 2002.

And on the October 20-23, 2003 at the Third International "Armprodexpo" Exhibition "Jermuk" mineral water by "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc was awarded Grand Gold Medal (the only one among the mineral waters), and "Byuregh" spring water gained the Silver Medal.

In 2002 and 2003 "JERMUK GROUP" production was also awarded Gold Medals in "Beverages and Beers" International Fairy which took place in Sochi., as a matter of fact it was the only one among mineral waters.

For the preservation of high quality and for opening new ways for success the Platinum medal of “European arch award” went to "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc in Frankfurt, Germany Spring, 2003.
Since 2002 "JERMUK GROUP" has been the official provider of "Kermlyovsky" trade house supplying to Kremlin in Moscow and other Governmental establishments in Russia. Company’s production is also provided to the president of Republic of Armenia, National Assembly, Ministries and other Governmental bodies.

The president of Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan in 2002 visited "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc within the framework of his business visits to Vayoc Dzor.


Owing to its unequal taste and exclusively high quality "JERMUK GROUP" cjsc exports successfully its production into great number of countries, being a leading producer of mineral waters in Armenia. At present "JERMUK GROUP" exports its production to  Russia,  Ukraine,  Belarus,Lebanon and etc.
